Hello I'm trying to evaluate the product for purchase (professional version), but cannot find any documentation on how to enable form field editing in the demo Xamarin app (Xamarin.Android).

Our requirements are the following:
Display pdf in viewer window and allow user to edit form field contents, extract form field values on save. It seems from other topics that this should be possible.

I tried opening a PDF file with acroform fields but the field contents cannot be modified in the viewer.
Could you please point me to some code to enable form field editing?

Also, is there any further documentation download that's more specific to the Xamarin package?

Thank you!

For form field editing, you need a premium license.
To test form field editing you need to use the demo's premium license, to do so you need to give your project the demo's package name/product id (com.radaee.reader)
To extract form fields values, you can check the APIs JsonFormFields , GetJsonFormFieldsAtPage(page), for a guide check Get/Set form fields in JSON format in Xamarin (Android)
For Xamarin Documentation, please check Knowledge Base - Third part tools

Hi nermeen,

Thanks for the answer. I found that my issue was that I was trying to use the OpenFromAssets and from a URL for my testing. Those don't allow the forms fields to be edited. Only the Open from file system is setup to allow you edit the fields but because the demo was asking to save modifications when I hit the back button, I didn't think of that being a possibility. Sorry for the confusion but I hope that this helps someone else that stumbles onto this topic.

Thanks a lot!

Yes, we confirm documents should be writable to allow annotations and form writing/modifying.
