No. After free registration on our website, you can download the full SDK packages for all platforms. The dynamic library, when packaged within your application, can be redistributed royalty-free, as long as it is produced using a licensed version of the Software.
You can publish a single application on a single operating system. The use of the SDK and its license has no time limit and is independent of the number of user downloads. Each license is tied to a unique activation key, strictly linked to the Package Name on Android, Bundle ID on iOS, or UUID on Windows.
It depends on the distribution. If the application uses the same package name/bundle-id and is distributed as a single binary, a single license is sufficient. However, if you develop two distinct applications with different package names (e.g., one for smartphones and one specifically for TV), two separate licenses are required.
Each license is tied to a standalone application that does not expose PDF functionality to other applications. It is not permitted to include the RadaeePDF SDK library, Java code, or activation key in external plugins, software modules, or print drivers that provide PDF services to other apps (for example, via the Intent mechanism on Android).
No, the use of the SDK and its license is independent of the number of developers on your team.

Yes, updates and fixes are included for 12 months from the purchase date. During this period, you can access all new versions released.
After the initial 12 months, you need to renew your maintenance to continue receiving updates. Your application will continue to work with the last SDK version activated before expiration.
Renewing maintenance allows you to:
The annual renewal cost is visible in the cart when you add a license: you will see the perpetual license price and the annual maintenance fee listed separately. The renewal corresponds exactly to this maintenance fee.
Your application continues to work without any limitations. You can continue to use and distribute the last SDK version released during your active maintenance period. You simply won’t be able to use SDK versions released after your maintenance expiration.
Yes. You have 60 days from the natural expiration date to renew your maintenance without penalties. The renewal will start retroactively from the original expiration date, with no gaps in the coverage period.
Warning: if the 60-day period expires without renewal, you permanently lose the right to renew. To regain access to new SDK versions, you will need to purchase a new license at full price.
The 12-month period starts from the license purchase date, not from the activation key generation date. Delaying key generation does not extend or postpone maintenance.
For bulk orders, maintenance for all licenses starts simultaneously from the order date.
After purchase, you receive access to a control panel to generate your activation key. Generation requires the unique identifier of your application:
The key is a hexadecimal string validated statically within your application code. No network connection is required for validation.
Yes, you can request a change within 6 months from the initial key generation. The request must be sent to sales@radaeepdf.com with a letter on official company letterhead declaring:
Only one change per license is allowed, and approval is at Radaee’s discretion.
To request a refund, send an email to sales@radaeepdf.com stating the reason and order reference number. For already activated licenses, a letter on official company letterhead is required.
If you request a refund for part of a multi-license order, the price is recalculated based on the public price list for the remaining quantity. This means the refund may be less than the original unit price, as the remaining licenses lose the volume discount applied to the initial order.
Yes, technical support is free during the 12 months of active maintenance. It is provided via the trouble ticket system on the website. Free support is renewed with maintenance renewal.
These times refer to initial response and assessment. Final resolution is handled on a “best effort” basis with no guaranteed timeframes.

Yes, you can download and use the full SDK for free for development and testing. The unlicensed version displays a standard watermark and has some API limitations.
Tip: to test all features, use the activation key included in the demo project while keeping the original demo package name/bundle-id.
Yes, but the application description must explicitly state that it is a “Demo” or “Test” version using RadaeePDF technology. It is not permitted to remove or alter the watermark in unlicensed versions.
Distribution through private channels requires an OEM-like license. This includes:

No. Each license is tied to a single application identified by its package name/bundle-id/UUID. To distribute the SDK in multiple applications, separate licenses are required.
The Master for Server license allows installation on workstations or servers identified by a unique UUID generated by the operating system. There are no restrictions on the number of concurrent processes or applications invoking the SDK.
It supports Java/JSP, .NET v5 C#, and C++, with command line tools sources included.
The wrapper code (Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, C#) and UI components are released under the Apache 2.0 License and can be freely modified.
The native C++ core (files .so, .dll, .a, .framework) cannot be modified without written permission from Radaee.
Warning: modifications to the framework code exclude you from free technical support. Radaee is not responsible for issues arising from modifications made by the customer.
Yes, NFR (Not-For-Resale) licenses are available for testing, staging, training, or demonstration environments. NFR licenses:
Yes. Upon request, Radaee can provide a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) in standard formats (SPDX or CycloneDX) to facilitate vulnerability management and risk assessment.
No. The SDK operates completely offline within your application and does not collect or transmit end-user personal data to Radaee. Responsibility for GDPR compliance regarding your application’s user data remains with you.
