Rotating Screen jumps to wrong page on Gingerbread

On Android 2.3 and also on the Nook, when you rotate the screen, the page it renders afterwards is not the same page as before. E.g. being on page 5, you rotate the screen, it jumps to page 4, you rotate again and you might end up at page 2 and so on. I receive a OnPageChanged event. It doesn't occur on Android 4.x.

We are using def_view=3
