Find text using PDFLayoutView

I tried to use PDFLayoutView to search text in the PDF using PDFFindStart() and PDFFind(), and it works properly and highlighted the matches.
However, is there any way to.....
1. obtain the search results programatically?
2. search the entire document, instead of just searching the next occurance and stops? (probably obtaining an array of search results)

Any help is appreicated.
