I'm trying to find out as well, if the source code for the native libraries (C/C++) is available as well with Professional and Premium licenses or not? There is no clear answer to this question anywhere on the web site or in the forums.
I see that Java source for pdfex.jar is now included even with the free demo I downloaded. This is great, but I would need to fix something and make work my way directly in the native code.

With pro and premium license you will be able to get only pdfex sources.
Native library sources aren't available to end users.
