Currently a long press and drag selects text. In android post this selection, there are selection handlers (at the beginning and end) which helps in selection post the drag action. There are no such selection handlers in iOS. Hence once the user stops the drag there is no way to modify the selection. Is there any way to add these handlers in iOS?

As mentioned in the query, I am able to select text with long press. The problem is once the selection is done there is no mechanism to modify the selection i.e. if I have selected 3 lines and then decide I want to select only first 2 lines, there is no direct mechanism to do so. In Android, post the selection, there are selector (2 bars) at the start and end position. These enables alteration of selection. This bars are missing in iOS. I want to know if these can be enabled some way. If not, can you provide guidance towards adding those.
