Add plain text to a pdf

Hello Radaee pdf team,

We use the Xamarin version of the Radaee pdf library.
Is it possible to add line of text to the pdf? I know it is possible to add a note annotation that places a small icon on the document. But i want to add plain text to the document.

I can't seem to find this on the website nor docs.

Please let me know.

This is supported but not via direct API, you need to modify the java/Objective-C sources, to be able to implement this feature.

Thanks for your answer, I really appreciate it.
But can you give me a direction of where I can implement this, since I just use the Xamarin library. I have the android project and can edit it and create a new .aar file of it. I just need to know here I should put the sample code that is in the first link.

It depends on your requirements, you can simply add the method in RadaeePDFManager. or if you need it to be based on a button click, then you will need to modify PDFViewController( + xml) (and if needed PDFLayoutView)

I will look into this.
The requirement is that a user taps or hold for an amount of time and can enter text on the document. The clicking or holding down is no problem, just need to have method like setting a Note on the document.
