Since the 5.0.8 update all of the fonts in the reader on android are messed up. I have documents whose fonts are entirely Times New Roman, but they display using a sans serif font (helvetica?), but not always - sometimes parts of a page will display with the correct font. The sans serif font also has the character spacing wrong.
This was all working before the 5.0.0 update.
I also preferred the older user interface, although I like that the icons are bigger (and easier to hit).
It seems every statute on www.comlaw.gov.au is affected.

This answer is not really very helpful.
The user interface (NOT programming interface) changes are annoying, but not a disaster (although some of the comments on the Google Play store suggest others find them a disaster).
However the font bug is a huge problem in legal documents. Legal documents have complex structures that can be very sensitive to font problems. failure to show the font correctly can in some cases change the meaning. For instance, some statutes use bold or italics to hilight defined terms, and sometimes the change in the position and size of a word (or part of it) because of the incorrect font can change the meaning.
Radaee reader is in a draft list of recommended apps for lawyers that a committee I am on is proposing to publish. It is there on my recommendation. If the fonts bug is not fixed quickly, I will need to pull Radaee reader out of that list of recommended apps.
