Mobi pdf viewer doesn't have the ability to view jpegs does it? I am not referring to jpegs within a PDF. I am referring to standalone jpegs.
I've tried a few times but it doesn't seem to work.

PDFView module only open PDF files.
if u mean view jpegs directly, u shall using system feature and manage images by yourself.
on android just using Bitmap object to load jpeg file.
