Last question, may be I missed the information in the long thread: which rendering mode are you using? Single page? Double page? etc.?

Global.render_mode = 1;
We're using a customization of PDFViewDual with our own vLayout() depending on orientation and settings.

It seems the issue is tight to the emulator when multitouch and 64bit emulation are running.
The same, wrong, behavior is present also running "official" applications like calculator or developer options.
