Make sure that after you go back from preview activity you reload the document (after save you should reopen)..

The code you shared before is working with us, so we really do not know what could be your issue without seeing the whole context.

We are not reloading document on resume.
so we need to do the same process again as we do in onCreate?

only if you have called close or save for the document

Now reloading the document, still same issue.
