Type 1 fonts on Android

As I understand: a PDF viewer should be capable of showing Type 1 fonts even if they are not embedded in the PDF [1]. However, the FAQ mentions that all fonts should be embedded in the PDF. If not a fallback will be used.
How should I properly handle Type 1 fonts on Android using Radaee PDF library?
Thank,
Christophe

it can use truetype as resources, which has font name same as type1 name.
